Is there a minimum amount of debt to qualify?
No, there is no minimum amount of debt required to qualify for the debt management program.

Do you deal with unsecured debt only?
The organization can help manage both secured and unsecured debts. However, if the secured debts are enrolled in the debt management plan, the client must understand that no concessions will be offered on those particular debts.

Do you require that all of my accounts are included in the program?
It is suggested that the client enroll as many accounts as they can but in no way is it required to enroll everything.

How is the set up fee and monthly maintenance fee determined? What is the fee?
The fees are state mandated. While the state of Indiana allows the organization to charge a monthly maintenance fee of 15% of the client's debt amount, the organization only charges 10% of the client's debt amount per month. There is a one time set up fee for a maximum amount of $50. However, the set up fee is refunded to the client throughout their debt management plan on a month to month basis as it is put towards their maintenance fee.

Are there any creditors that you do not work with?
Indy Credit Counselors, Inc. will not work with Credit one, First Premier Bank, State Farm Bank, Dell, and for the time being, Bank of America.

How will I be kept appraised of whether you are making my payments on time? Are statements sent? Can I review my statements online?
The client will receive monthly statements from their creditors, quarterly statements from the organization, and will have online access to their statements as well.

Do you have a refund policy for unsatisfied customers?
Refunds are handled on a case by case basis.
